Our Customers Love BB-25 Wire Stripping Machine

Product Details

The BB-25 is a mechanical wire stripping machine. You feed cable into one of three holes, the toothed rollers pull it through, and an adjustable cutting wheel scores the insulation along its length. The jacket peels off. The conductor comes out whole.

The difference between this and a hand stripper is simple: the machine pulls the wire. You don't.

SPECIFICATIONS

Cable Range:
0.06" – 1" outside diameter (1.5 – 25 mm)
Feed Holes: Three — 1" / 3/8" / 5/32" (25 / 10 / 4 mm)
Feed Plate: Rotating, multiple positions
Drive: Hand crank or power drill (drill not included)
Frame: Full aluminum alloy
Cutting Wheel: 64Mn heat-treated steel, bearing-mounted
Rollers: 45# steel, black oxide, V-toothed
Panel: Clear acrylic — you can watch the cut
Weight: 3.75 lbs (1.7 kg)
Dimensions: 5.2" × 2.36" × 9.25" (132 × 60 × 235 mm)

Honest note: this machine is built for round cable — THHN, single-strand,
service wire, anything #6 and up. Flat Romex and coax will strip, but usually
take two passes. Very thin and braided wire is not what it's for.

That Pile Has Been There Three Years

Yards Don't Pay For Plastic

Bring in wire with the jacket on, you get paid for the plastic too. Which is almost nothing.

Strip it first and it's bare bright. Top price, every time.

Same wire. Same trip. Three times the check.

The Knife Way

An hour with a utility knife gets you about 25 bucks of copper, a sore hand and a few nicks you'll feel tomorrow.

The BB-25 pulls the wire through for you. You just crank.

Same hour. Bigger pile.

When Does It Pay For Itself?

Around 35 pounds of stripped wire. That's one corner of the garage. Prices move daily and every yard is different, so check yours.

Results:
$5+/lb. Bare bright. Clean, stripped copper.
A third. What the same wire pays with the jacket on.
35 lbs and the machine has paid for itself.

Bolt It Down. Crank It. Done.

The rollers grab the wire and pull it through. A blade scores the jacket as it goes. The copper comes out the other side.

Crank it by hand or put a drill on it and go faster.

Every BB-25 Comes With The Setup Guide

These machines only work when the blade sits right. Too high, the wire slips. Too low, it jams.

The guide shows you how to set it. You get it by email the minute you order.

Read it while the machine ships. Clean copper on the first pull.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it strip Romex?

Yes, but flat cable usually takes two passes. Round cable like THHN goes through in one.

What about thin wire?

It's built for #6 and up. Thin stuff will go through, but it takes a steadier hand and it's slower.

Do I need a drill?

No. The crank works fine. A drill just makes it faster.

Does it have to be bolted down?

Yes. It needs to be solid or the wire pulls it around. Hardware is in the box, and the guide shows you where.

Where do I get replacement blades?

From us. Add one to your order or grab one anytime from our site.

How fast does it ship?

From our US warehouse. 2-5 days with UPS, free.

What if it's not for me?

30-day money back guarantee, from the day it arrives. Email us at info@barebrightco.com and we'll sort it out.
